The Stitches that Bind Us

“When we engage in fiber arts, we are creating something, but we’re also participating in historic traditions tens of thousands of years old. You are not only making art for your soul and future generations, you are embodying the work of our ancestors.” — The Woven Road

Castle Creek Fiber Studio is more than just a yarn shop. Owned and operated by passionate pursuers of the craft, we facilitate a sense of community where knitters, weavers, and crocheters of all ages and experience can come to learn, create and share.

Our studio is located in Naples, Florida where we offer a wide selection of fiber arts materials, tools, and patterns. We also host regular events and classes where you can mingle with other crafters, expand your technique repertoire, and even lend your talents to a good cause. With a wide variety of group activities happening every week, you’re bound to find something that captures your interest.

A Little About Us

It is important to look to the future. It is equally as important to look back at what came before you. The art of knitting, weaving, and crocheting is as old as time and has been a staple of the community and its survival. Generations of women would gather together to share their knowledge and pass on their skills so that future generations could carry on the tradition. We, here at Castle Creek, recognize that we are stewards of the industry and are dedicated to preserving the community and traditions for generations to come. We want you to be a part of our community of friendly, knowledgeable fiber artists and to share with you our passion for the fiber arts.

Weaving Threads into the Community

One unique aspect of Castle Creek Studios is its Community Outreach Specialist, Velinda. She has established a large group of women who meet on Tuesday afternoons and knit for community projects such as Little Hats Big Hearts, Knitted Knockers and Twiddle Muffs for Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients. Velinda is also working with a number of Assisted Living Facility Activities Directors to bring fiber therapy into the facilities and to bring residents into our shop for classes and field trips.

These outreach projects have been enthusiastically welcomed by participants, and our studio looks forward to expanding its outreach to child-friendly projects during school vacation periods.

We here at Castle Creek recognize that we are not only pioneers in the fiber arts but stewards of the industry and are dedicated to the community and preserving this art form for generations to come. We’re constantly thinking of ways we can benefit the community. It is our dream and our goal to take our customers on a journey down the path towards fiber nirvana!
